LEARNING PREFERENCES INDICATOR (for parents)
There are specific preferences when learning and parenting. Perceptual modalities, time of day, retention qualities, and various motivators can make a significant improvement in how you learn and how to help your children learn. By becoming more introspective, a parent can model healthy skills for the family. As the parent learns effective techniques, the children can improve. Through this questionnaire, parents will have more awareness, learn how to use strengths to learn new skills, consider new ways to be motivated, and apply this to family members. It is especially helpful to pair this with the Learning Style Indicator for ages 3-7 or the Reading (Learning) Inventory for 3rd – 12th grade.
